Meghan Jennings, HSO representative Ben Weiss

On April 16, 2024, it was our honour to attend the Showcase event for the graduating class of the Algonquin College Applied Museum Studies program and to present graduating student Meghan Jennings with the Historical Society of Ottawa’s annual AMS Award.

Meghan's experience placement this final year of the three-year program was with the Canadian Museum of History.

Meghan, who had entered the Algonquin College Applied Museum Studies program having already completed a Masters in Anthropology, now plans to finish off with a PhD in Canadian Studies at Carleton University.
