In the spirit of Labour Day, Brian McDougall of Peoples’ History Walking Tours will lead us through the Market and Parliament Hill districts highlighting events and protests that have shaped Ottawa’s working population since Confederation. Brian is a former public servant, university teacher, and longtime social and union activist. His tours are inspiring, often provocative, and never boring.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this tour will be limited to 9 participants who will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis. Social distancing will apply to all participants unless they are from the same household. Masks must be worn if participants are ever closer than 2 m. Wear a hat, bring a water bottle and sun screen. A waiting list will be started if there is high interest. If you need to cancel please let us know as early as possible so that those on the waiting list can replace you.
