Details
What meals were being served on the dinner tables of early Bytown? For example, what fare might the Grey Nuns have fed the Irish Famine Refugees upon their arrival in Bytown in the 1830s?
Holly Benison explores what might have been the typical diets of the day and the food traditions and social history behind the recipes of that era.
This presentation will take place on Zoom. All are welcome to attend.
